CFA- 2026 IBA – VIAC CDRC Negotiation Competition (Client-Advocate Pairs)

We are pleased to announce that International Bar Association (IBA) and the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) is organizing the 2026 The IBA – VIAC CDRC Negotiation Competition. on the  2nd July 2026 to 7th July 2026.

The competition will be held in Offline Mode in Vienna, Austria.

This event aims to provide a platform for law students nationwide to showcase their skills in ADR while focusing on the intricacies of the legal profession.

In this regard, we will allot 2 Client-Advocate Pairs from our college to participate in the competition.

Please note that additional procedures must be followed after the competition is allotted, which include a team registration and a selection process.

The ADR Board does not guarantee any team or participant's selection into the competition, and the sole discretion lies with the competition organisers.

We request the interested teams to apply for the competition, and selection will be based on the order of ranking in the Internal ADR Ranking Rounds (Mediation) 2025-26.

Any team not complying with the application procedure will not be considered.

We request the team to thoroughly read the rules and regulations regarding the competition and the registration process.

Disclaimer: Students who do not progress beyond the application stage of the competition will be deemed to have exhausted their respective ranks.

The deadline for applications is 15th December, 2025 (11:59 PM).

No queries for extension shall be entertained.
