Allotment- 2026 IBA – VIAC CDRC Mediation Competition

We are pleased to announce that International Bar Association (IBA) and the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) are organizing the 2026 The IBA – VIAC CDRC Mediation Competition. on the  2nd July 2026 to 7th July 2026.

The competition will be held in Offline Mode in Vienna, Austria.

This event aims to provide a platform for law students nationwide to showcase their skills in ADR while focusing on the intricacies of the legal profession.

In this regard, we will allot 2 Mediators and 2 Client-Advocate Pairs from our college to participate in the competition.

Please note that additional procedures must be followed after the competition is allotted, which include a team registration and a selection process to be done on the competition website.

The ADR Board does not guarantee any team or any participant's selection into the competition, and the sole discretion lies with the competition organisers. 

In this regard, we have allotted 1 negotiating team (comprising 4 people) and 1 Mediator team (comprising 2 people) from our college to participate in this competition.

R Krishi Jain has been allotted this competition as the Mediator (Internal Mediation Rank 2025-26 - Rank 1)

Rituraj Mal Deka has been allotted this competition as the Mediator (Internal Mediation Rank 2025-26 - Rank 25)

Please note that Client-Advocate Slot 1 and Slot 2 shall represent our university as One Negotiating Team, and the Mediator Slot shall represent the university as One Mediator Team.

Withdrawal post 24 hours after allotment of the competition will result in the blacklisting of the team.
